Good Shepherd School, Airdrie, Hip-Hop Dance Program
The class went really well! Ian was a terrific instructor who had the students engaged and participating throughout the lesson. He introduced various hip-hop moves by breaking them down into simple steps that the students could follow. He practiced the moves with the students a few times without music and when they were more confident he would turn on the music. This method allowed for the students to feel more successful.
Ian had a very good rapport with the students and encouraged them to try their best. He incorporated variety into his lesson by playing a few games as well. I especially liked how he ended the class with the students standing in a large circle and having an opportunity to do some free style and Ian showing off his moves at the very end.
