Yup, September is just around the corner. This brings up a lot of feelings for a lot of people! Yes, COVID-19 is still with us and we need to do everything we can to keep it out of our bodies, homes and classrooms and there is an opportunity to stay vigilant to avoid illness AND refocus our attention on WELLNESS. Yes, we can create Wellness amidst illness. In fact, our Physical and Mental Wellness is our greatest defense against illness. This is resilience. Wellness is an investment in who we are now and who we will be years from now.
And here’s the best news: Taking Wellness seriously is SO MUCH FUN! Play! Movement! Mindfulness! Music! These are essential elements of Wellness and when combined the effect is far greater than the sum of their parts!
