Advocating For Physical Literacy Has No Bounds!
SoundKreations is not only committed to the schools and youth of the cities we teach in but also to the dedicated instructors that make-up the local dance and poetry scene. We believe that each city has its own flavour; a style and approach embodied by the local artists. With that said, all of our instructors are trained up to our high-standards so that when booking a SoundKreations residency dance program, you’re right to expect a consistently superior in-school dance and poetry experience.
In 2007 we began operations in Calgary, AB and quickly became the go-to provider of in-school dance and poetry programs to the school system. We now lead hundreds of school programs every year in Calgary alone and have the honour of exploring the world of dance and poetry with over 50,000 students every year.
Word travels fast between schools and it didn’t take long before word traveled north and in 2013 we led our first Hip-Hop Dance Program in Edmonton, AB! We have been working with an amazing team of Edmonton dancers and educators and the positive response from Edmonton Schools has been overwhelming!
In 2016 we set-up shop in Vancouver, BC. We worked with a superstar team of Vancouver dancers, eager to get into the schools and share the SK Program! There has been such a huge demand for our programs out in BC and we are so excited to finally be able to offer the SK experience on the West Coast!
Today, we’ve positioned ourselves to serve all of Canada, creating in-school dance and poetry teams from the pool of passionate artists in your cities and towns. Whether your school is in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Toronto, Halifax or anywhere in between, we want to dance with you! Our vision at SoundKreations, regardless of our company’s growth, is to always offer a Nationally acclaimed in-school program led by dancers and educators from your city, with programs that cater to your province’s curriculum.
